Eco Domes
Geodesic domes among the native lenga trees, 15 km from El Chaltén, these eco domes offer a true wilderness escape. Wake up to Mount Fitz Roy from your bed and step straight from your door onto uncrowded trails to Laguna de los Tres, with the national park and surrounding routes just steps away.

Fitz Roy, El Chaltén, the smoking mountain,
from your bed.
The bed faces the big window, with the wood stove a step away. You wake up with the mountain right in front of you.
There's no
signal here.
No wifi, no mobile data. What you will hear is the stove and the wind in the lengas.
We chose it this way from the start. Power is solar, and every dome has USB ports for your phone or camera. Let your family know before you come.
This is Eco Domes.
The domes, the forest, the food and the perfect view of the mountains. Tap a photo to see it larger.
The hot tub, for after the walk.
Nine kilometers to the lake, nine back. And at the end, a wooden hot tub heated over a wood fire with a cold plunge beside it, out in the open air, facing the mountains.

For after the 18 km there and back.

The trail starts at your dome.
We have been here
since 2014.
Since 2014, we have been a pioneer in hosting guests on this side of El Chaltén, fifteen kilometers from the village. Our objective was to provide a unique experience that preserved the natural beauty of the area.
Our accommodations consist of lightweight domes situated on a beautiful land with exceptional views. These domes are powered by solar energy and wood heating, and they are equipped with no Wi-Fi.
Our story

Breakfast and dinner
facing Fitz Roy.
Seventy-eight square meters of wood and glass looking at Fitz Roy. Breakfast before the trail, dinner when you get back. Outside, Patagonian lamb cooks for hours on the asador, over a wood fire.
Everything you need to know.
How to get here, what the stay includes, and a few things worth knowing first.
We're 15 km from El Chaltén on Route 41, on the way to Lago del Desierto. Although we recommend driving to our property, and free parking on site is available, we offer a free shuttle from El Chaltén. This is included for stays of 2 nights or longer, exclusively for check-in from 2 pm till 5 pm and check-out at 10 am (groups are excluded). Otherwise, if this timeframe does not suit you, we can help you book a private transfer at any time. Moreover, we can arrange a private transfer from El Calafate airport or any El Calafate hotel. Do not hesitate to ask us, or include it when you book with us.
Really, and on purpose. Allow yourself a digital detox. No cell service, no internet: let the people who matter know before you come.
Each dome has its own solar power, at 12 V, so you'll find USB ports. To charge anything that doesn't run on USB, there are the shared domes.
Full board is included, comprising a four-course dinner, a buffet breakfast, and a complete lunchbox. You may request our organic teas upon your arrival from a strenuous hiking excursion or enjoy them at any time during the day. Water is sourced from a nearby location, and we encourage the use of reusable water bottles to minimize plastic waste. Please remember to bring your own bottle for refilling. Beverages are not included in this offer, and you are welcome to select your wine from our selection.
Check-in from 3 pm. Check-out by 10 am, in time to set out on the trail.
Pets are not allowed. Guests under 18 stay in the same dome as an adult.
